Review of competence and professional skills
Reviews of competence and professional skills are a service provided by Spring House for the customers of TE Offices: people who have been unemployed for a long time, people planning to change careers, and immigrants. The service reduces obstacles to employment.
The purpose of a review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the jobseeker’s competence and opportunities in the labour market.
As well as identifying the jobseeker’s skills, their job application capabilities are updated, and their employment plan is further specified and clarified. In addition, a personal plan to address any shortcomings in competence is drawn up. Obstacles to employment are identified as part of the service. The service also offers opportunities for on-the-job demonstrations.
The target groups include the customers of TE Offices: people who have been unemployed for a long time, people planning to change careers, and immigrants, for example. The service is available for individuals and groups.
This service is an effective way to identify and remove obstacles to employment, and on-the-job demonstrations can conveniently be included in the service.
