StaffPoint strengthens global network

The StaffPoint Group and Randstad have signed an agreement on transferring the Finnish business operations of the Proffice Group, a Randstad company, to StaffPoint. The StaffPoint Group is one of the largest personnel services companies in Finland, and Randstad is among the global market leaders in the field.

The transaction involves transferring the business operations of Proffice Finland in Helsinki and Tampere to StaffPoint as of 1 September 2016.

A strategic partnership with a top global operator

According to Mika Kiljunen, CEO of StaffPoint, the acquisition supports StaffPoint’s business strategy in two ways:

“We will become Randstad’s strategic partner and representative in Finland. Randstad operates in 39 countries, and its services cover 90 per cent of the market. We will be able to make use of a top global operator’s international network, as well as its tools and concepts. This will increase the quality and efficiency of our work with customers,” says Kiljunen.

A more business-oriented nationwide range of services

“Another strategic benefit is the strengthening of our nationwide service offering: the acquisition will provide us with more in-depth expertise in certain sectors while also strengthening our local service capabilities. Through the acquisition of the business operations of Proffice Finland, we will gain access to additional expertise in personnel services in the office, logistics, industrial, customer service and ICT sectors in particular. For our customers, this means even more business-orientated services.”
