BIM Engineer
Whitewater Group is expanding its operations to support the development of a new data centre site in Finland through the establishment of a subsidiary. Now you have the opportunity to join them on their exciting mission!
On behalf of our client Whitewater, we now seek a junior BIM Engineer to work on various projects in the Healthcare, Industry, Municipal, Pharma and Data Centre Sectors. The role is perfect for those with at least one to two years of relevant engineering experience and are interested in working in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, are the following:
- Accurate BIM MEP modeling
- Developing precise 2D drawings from the BIM model
- Creating Revit families
- Conducting coordination and clash assessments, and reporting on project progression
- Liaising with design teams, clients, architects, surveyors, engineers, and project managers
- Assisting engineers and senior managers with drawings and blueprints
- Managing involvement in multiple projects simultaneously
Key Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a high level of energy. They must be capable of working independently as well as in team environments. This position demands an individual with a strong detail-oriented work style, excellent English oral and written communication skills, and an accommodating and proactive attitude. Additional qualifications required include:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role on large-scale complex MEP projects.
- Proficient in 2D/3D CAD, Navisworks and Revit.
- IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in MS Project is an advantage.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, Finnish is an advantage.
- Must exhibit strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented work style, along with an accommodating and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team to develop conceptual, feasibility, and final designs for a wide variety of water treatment projects.
- Must have all necessary EU work permits.
